About Us
Wilcox Family Farms is a 110-year-old farm that sits on 1,600 acres of farmland along the Nisqually River and in the foothills of Mt. Rainier.
Today the farm is run by fourth generation Andy, Brent, and Chris Wilcox. Pictured here with the tractor and one of our Mobile Pasture houses.
Company History
1900
1909
Judson and Elizabeth Wilcox purchased the land on Harts Lake.
1919
Judson and Elizabeth traded off attending a poultry husbandry course at Washington State College in Puyallup. They traded off because one of them had to always tend to the chickens.
1935
Truman Wilcox joined the farm as a partner. Later, his wife Mildred joined as a partner in the family business.
1960
Jim and Barrie join the family business and take over operational control upon Truman’s death in 1981. Jim and Barrie are both still actively involved in the operations.
1961
Wilcox Family Farms added 30 milking cows to the operation. In 2008 the dairy was sold off, and the farm refocused 100% to eggs.
1990
The fourth generation of Wilcox farmers joined the business.
2006
Organic farming and poultry raising began.
2010
Andy, Brent and Chris – take over operations of the farm and start transitioning all caged eggs to cage-free, free-range, and organic.
2012
Wilcox purchases first hard boiled egg machine.
2015
Wilcox builds first on site feed mill.
2017
Wilcox builds first Mobile Pasture barn. Becoming the first system in the United States.
Today
Today both the 4th and 5th generations are actively working in the family farm. We have no caged hens and every chicken is cage free, free range, pasture, and organic.

Founded in 1909 by Judson and Elizabeth Wilcox, Wilcox Family Farms has provided quality egg products to the Pacific Northwest region for four generations. Today, Andy, Brent and Chris Wilcox proudly continue the tradition of supplying local businesses and pantries with premier eggs.
