World's Best Eggnog
- 8 Wilcox premium quality eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 oz. Meyer's Dark Rum
- 1/5 bourbon
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 quart milk
Beat yolks and whites of eight organic, naturally nested Wilcox Farms eggs separately.
Add 1 cup sugar to the whites and beat until stiff. Combine beaten yolks and whites and mix thoroughly.
Add 3 oz. Meyer's Dark Rum (it has the best flavor) and one fifth bourbon (Jim Beam). Beat. Add 1 pint heavy cream
and 1 quart milk.
Chill.
Serve with a sprinkling of nutmeg.
